a. The colors in this photo make me feel really alert because of the striking light red color.
b. The picture is balanced because of the dark red and white contrast each other very well and the three colors together compliment each other.
c. Natural light, coming from above, off to the left.
d. The bright red and white looks more smooth while the dark red looks like it would be rough.
e. The main focus of the photo is the back of three different Volkswagen bug's back parts with the slits.
f. It doesn't look like there is really a background to this photo just that the white and red parts continue.
g. I think this photo is about how parts from something so old can come together and make something that today we appreciate.

Balance: Negative and positive space, geometric and color balance.

Picture_1_copy.png
a. This photo makes me feel adventurous and wanting to go see the world.
b. This photo is geometrically balanced.
c. Looks like natural light coming from the sun, no real direction of light.
d. The orange wall looks like it would feel grainy like sandpaper but the green window shades and flowers look more soft and sleek.
e. I feel like the focus is emphasized more on the green windows because that is the first thing my eyes are drawn to.
f. The background of this image is the orange wall which really makes you notice the windows because it contrasts with the dark green. Also I think the flowers on the wall look like they are farther back than the windows and they become part of the background.
g. This photo makes me think it's about a small tuscan town in rural europe that is really peaceful.

Framing: Direct the viewers attention to the subject of the photo.

Framing.png
a. This photo give me a kind of dark feeling of despair because of the dark colors and the pitch back arch.
b. I think it's balanced with the lighter colors, grey and white complimenting each other and contrasting with the black surrounding it.
c. The light looks like the sun barely shining through grey clouds and its shining in from behind the cathedral.
d. The bricks look old and bumpy and like they have eroded over the years.
e. The arch frames the cathedral which makes the cathedral the main focus of this photo.
f. The background of this image is the white sky behind the cathedral.
g. The photo is about the Cathedral of Prague in the Czech Republic.

Triangles: Important elements framed in a triangle and keeps the viewer in the picture.

Triangles.png
a. The photo makes me feel nostalgic from when I visited France with my family and we went to the Louvre.
b. This photo is balanced because it has the same amount of negative and positive space.
c. Based off the peoples shadows it seems that the light is coming from off from the top left direction.
d. The tips of the pyramids looks really sharp and pointy. The clouds in the background look fluffy and soft.
e. The pyramid is the main focus of this photo because of the triangles in it that keeps you eyes moving inside of it. Also, since the people are so small in comparison it gives the pyramid a greater appearance and importance in the photo.
f. The background is the blue sky and clouds and some green hedges along the bottom.
g. This photo could be about one of the landmarks of Paris and how it is one of the focus' for vacations to France.

Element Relationship: Elements interact producing a harmonious result.

Element_Relationship.jpg
a. This photo makes me feel happy because I think these polar bears playing look so cute.
b. This photo is balanced because of how the colors white, black and and orangey-yellow compliment each other well. Also the background isn't cluttered so it give this photo the same amount of negative and positive space.
c. The light looks like it's coming from the sun above because underneath their neck is shadowed a bit and on top of their heads is quite bright.
d. The fur of the polar bear on the right looks damp and slick while the one on the left looks more fluffy.
e. The snow in the background looks a bit blurry which give this photo a narrow dept of field that focus' on the bears.
f. The background is snow on the ground that looks like the texture is bumpy but smooth.
g. The photo is about two polar bears playing with each other.

Simple and Single Point: Not a cluttered image and strips away the unnecessary which increases impact.

Simple.png
a. Looking at this photo makes me feel quite calm. To me the orange color is relaxing.
b. This photos has balance because of the orange wall and white frame around the window contrast with each other.
c. It looks like the light is coming straight onto the the wall, the light could be artificial, because of the corners being darker than the center.
d. The orange wall looks creamy while the floor looks like it would be grainy and coarse.
e. The focus of the photo is the window, I think this because of its prominence in the photo and how it is in the upper right hand corner (rule of thirds) which draws your eyes toward it.
f. The background is the fluid orange wall that surrounds the window and the strip of hardwood floor along the bottom.
g. I think that this photo is about a freshly painted wall in a room that is being redone or constructed. I think that because on the floor there is drippings of white which could have been the primer that was painted on the wall before the orange. Also, there is no trimming along the bottom of the wall which make me think that the wall isn't completed yet.

Dynamic "S" Arrangement: Forces the eye to move around the image.

S_pattern.png
a. This photo kind of inspires me because the architecture of this walkway is a little futuristic looking and that inspires me about the future.
b. I really like this photos exposure because since the light is focused around the subject of this photo the edges look dark and shadowed and not as important so it draws your eye to the walkway.
c. It looks like light is coming from off sky walk itself because the edges get darker and darker and you can see light fixtures on the side of the roof of the walkway.
d. The roof of the walkway looks like it would feel really sleek and glassy. Also, it looks like the trees would feel quite prickly.
e. The walkway is the focus of this picture, because of it's "s" shape it keeps your eyes moving along the photo.
f. The background in this photo is the ground of what looks like a court yard of some type. The court year and part of the buildings are not as bright and don't jump out at you as much as the walkway does because of it's brightness.
g. I think this photo is about how people can express their creativity through building places like this that are new and urban.
